The month of April 2019 was really a lot of pattern making, This customer wanted to reproduce this old “Puma” knife sheath brought to his Father from Germany. The original had a raw back, for the new one smooth brown calf skin was used on the flip (back side) to add structure and increase longevity. SOLD- Brin & Olivia-Corn-N-Hole Boards- This was a Corn-N-Hole set that I purchased off Amazon that I then sanded, painted, then lacquered, then sanded, lacquered and sanded, lacquered and sanded. They turned out pretty awesome and I am happy with the way they play as well, but man was it a lot of hours haha.

Painted with acryllic then sealed with about 20 coats of polyurethane.

Tried something a little different on this one. The shape of the wallet itself reflects the subject at hand. This one ended up slightly asymmetrical and i am a huge fan. Expect more of these soon. Once again I am experimenting here with different ways to Tattoo your Shoe. These Nike SB’s are a jersey like mesh material. I have painted pairs like these before but it really eats up the paint. For this shoe I hand tooled then hand stitched imagery onto the tongues of each shoe. Then I hand cut 4 different Swooshes which were also then hand sewn. Not sure how I missed this movie in years before. Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey in a Sci Fi flick about communicating with Aliens sounded good from the exact moment this Choe was commissioned. Amazon Prime (aka supreme world leader) delivered in expected fashion with research materials. This Choe had a firm 3 week deadline and at first I was hesitant, especially since i had no idea what the movie was even about. The customer, the recipient, and I were all pretty satisfied how the final product turned out. The email I received detailing the emotional reaction of the recipient brought a smile to my face. I may even create a testimonials page as a result so everyone can share in her Joy.

I have been traveling quite a bit this year already so I figured this would be a nice item to have. I noticed last year during my trip to Indonesia that it was annoying to have both my wallet and passport in separate pockets. I created this all leather Passport Wallet as a way to carry my passport, credit cards, cash, even boarding pass all in one convenient place.
